1 Chron. 5:20-
“And they were helped against them…
…for they cried to God in the battle,
and He was entreated by them,
because they put their trust IN HIM.”

I, too, Lord, am going into battle. Only I wrestle not against flesh and blood, as they did, but against principalities, powers, and all the rulers of the darkness of this world trying to blind men from the light of the glorious gospel of Christ!
I cry to You now, as they did, on the basis of Your promises to me in Ps 126:6- ”
“He that goeth forth and weepeth, leaving precious seed, SHALL DOUBTLESS COME AGAIN REJOICING, BRINGING HIS SHEAVES WITH HIM.” I go to Mississippi State- remembering the precious seed of the word of the gospel of the grace of God. I put no confidence in me but in You- the living God.
I have Your word, Your Spirit, and I go following Your command, believing Your promises. I ask that You allow me to cross paths with the ones with Whom You are already working and I put my trust in You.
Dear God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, I too, look for Your HELP AGAINST THEM (rulers of darkness) and I CRY TO YOU IN THE BATTLE asking that You BE ENTREATED by me BECAUSE, I, TOO PUT MY TRUST IN YOU!!!

Also, Lord, as Jacob prayed to You in Gen 32:9, I now pray.

Oh, God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, Creator of heaven and earth, Ruler of all nations, the help of Israel,

The God Almighty – Jesus Christ Who said unto me, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel” and “lo, I am with you always….” and “he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life eternal…in due season ye shall reap if you faint not.”

I, too, am not worthy of the least of all Thy mercy, and all the truth, which Thou hast shown unto Thy servant; because for 22 years I lived in vanity and pride caring not that You, my Lord, was crucified knowing not it was for me You died on calvary.
And not only that, but even now, having been redeemed by your precious blood and still have a stubborn heart filled of pride, sin, and rebellion. However, I come to You, not on the basis of my righteousness, but Yours that You have imputed to me when I believed.

*Grant unto me, Thy servant, that with all boldness I may speak Thy word (Act 4:29)
*Lead me to those with Whom You are already working, like the Ethiopian eunuch. (Act 8)
*Arrange my paths to cross with those who are ordained to eternal life, like You got Peter and Cornelius together (Act 10)
*Cause my words, to go out in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance that it would not be received as the word of men, but as it is in truth, THE WORD OF GOD. (1Thes 1:5,2:13)

*Cause me to be diligent to sow- being diligent in season and out of season both morning and evening.

*Allow me to sow and reap among #1- the freshman, #2- the foreigners, #3- the football players, and #4- others

Lord, You have said:

“THE HARVEST IS PLENTEOUS”

“I WILL MAKE YOU BECOME FISHERS OF MEN”

“THE LORD IS NIGH UNTO ALL THEM THAT CALL UPON HIM IN TRUTH”

“THE LORD TAKETH PLEASURE IN THOSE WHO FEAR HIM, IN THOSE WHO HOPE IN HIS MERCY”

“THE STEPS OF A GOOD MAN ARE ORDERED BY THE LORD”

“HE WILL FULFILL THE DESIRE OF THOSE THAT FEAR HIM”

“HE THAT GOETH FORTH….BEARING PRECIOUS SEED SHALL DOUBTLESS COME AGAIN WITH REJOICING, BRINGING HIS SHEAVES WITH HIM.”
