Read: Deut. 9-17

QT: Deut. 11:1-21

Vs. 1- “thou shalt love the Lord thy God and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his ordinances, and his commandments, always.”

Vs. 7-8“ your eyes have seen all the great acts of the Lord, which he did. Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day…” “That ye may prolong your days.”

Vs. 13- “…If ye shall harken diligently unto my commandments…to love the Lord your God…”(I will bless you)

Vs. 16- Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived and ye turn aside…and then the Lord’s wrath be kindled against you…”

Therefore, being these things are true, shall ye lay up these, my words in your heart…

…and in your soul and

….bind them for a sign upon your hand…and

…ye shall teach them diligently to your children…

…and thou shalt write them upon the doorposts of thine house and upon thy gates.

That your days may be multiplied and the days of your children.

Application:

In order to try to eliminate forgetting to do what I have already seen I will:

  1. keep blank verse cards in my briefcase
  2. Write out on verse cards each day my practical application
  3. Keep them in my daily review pack and review daily so as not to forget.
