Journal Entry-
Oh LORD, thank You for the rest. Help me now, oh God help me to see!
Ps.71
vs. 1. In Thee, O LORD, do I put my trust
vs. 2. Deliver me in Thy righteousness. Incline Thy ear to me and SAVE me
vs. 3. Be Thou my strong habitation
vs. 5. For THOU are my HOPE, O LORD God, THOU art my TRUST…
vs. 6. By Thee have I been sustained from birth. Thou art He that brought me into life;
My praise shall be continually of Thee.
vs. 8. Let my mouth be filled with Thy praise and with Thy honor ALL THE DAY!
vs. 9. Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
vs. 12. O God, be not far from me, O my God, make haste for my help!
vs. 14. But I will hope and continually wait, and yet praise thee more and more!
vs. 15. My mouth shall show forth THY RIGHTEOUSNESS and THY SALVATION ALL THE DAY!
vs. 16. I will go in the strength of the LORD God.
I will make mention of THY RIGHTEOUSNESS, even of thine only.
vs. 17. O God, Thou hast taught me from my youth…
vs. 18. Now also, when I am old and gray headed, O God, forsake me not: until I have shown THY STRENGTH to this generation, and THY power to everyone that is to come.
vs. 19. THY RIGHTEOUSNESS also, O God, is very high, Who hast done great things:
O God, Who is like Thee?
vs. 20. Thou wilt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
vs. 22. I will also praise THEE. With Thee psaltery, even THY TRUTH, O my God to Thee will I sing with the harp, O Thou Holy One of ISRAEL.
vs. 23. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to Thee, and my soul which Thou has redeemed.
vs. 24. My tongue also shall talk of thy RIGHTEOUSNESS ALL THE DAY LONG!
Thank You, O LORD, for giving me WORDS, WORDS written by a man as he was “…moved by the Holy Spirit,” over 3000 years ago as he passed through the trials that You had for him. Oh God, help me to TRUST YOU MORE, PRAISE and HONOR You MORE AND MORE, SPEAK of YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS more, and to do this ALL THROUGH EACH DAY!
