Journal Entry-
Dear LORD, please lead me and guide me with Thy truth.
Yesterday, in the mail we received a $3,000 check from a group of believers in Birmingham. Because You have said,
“Honor the LORD with thy substance and with the first fruits of all thy increase;
so shall thy barns be filled with plenty and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Pro 3:9-10
We have designated it already to be given in Jesus’ name. We need the money, now, in building our house, but we choose in light of this sure promise, to honor the LORD with it. So, now, dear LORD, we wait upon You, to fill our barns with plenty, or to provide that which we need to complete out house.
“I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait,
and IN HIS WORD DO I HOPE.” Ps 10:5
“Remember the WORD unto Thy servant,
upon which Thou hast caused me to hope.” Ps 119:49
I know these promises still stand, because You said,
“…every one of Thy righteous ordinances endureth forever.” Ps 119:160
