Oh LORD, show me Thy ways, O LORD, teach me Thy paths!
In Judges 6:6-7- You responded to the children of Israel when They CRIED UNTO You.
In 7:2 You said, “The people who are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into thine hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, mine own hand hath saved me.”
You were concerned that they, thinking “my hand, my faith, or my anything hath saved me” so- You wanted them to have less- so – it would be obvious that You and You alone did it.
LORD, I realize that You and You alone are my supplier and the one I must look to and lean upon. Help me never to look to man, my faith, or my prayer, but only to You through Your sure promises! “God is not a God that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Hath He not said and shall He not make it good?”
Help me, O LORD, to look AT YOUR PROMISES and NOT at the circumstances!
My soul thirsteth after THEE like a thirsty land! I stretch forth my hands unto THEE!
