Friday, July 13, 1990
Read: Gen 43-50
“And the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and became exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them.” Exodus 1:7
Dear Lord Jesus, as Jabez called upon you in 1 Chronicles 4:10, I call upon you now. I ask that you bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and keep me from evil. And I ask that you bless me the way you did Jacob in Exodus 1:7.
Cause all my children to be fruitful- may they all have large Godly families. I pray that You increase them abundantly. I pray that you multiply them (give us more, cause them to have many children, and cause their children and children to have many children). Cause them to be exceedingly mighty and fill the land with them.

Editor’s Note: I was not born at the time of this journal entry, but in the 23 years that followed, my father had not only me, but 7 more children and enjoyed 10 grandchildren before he went to be with the LORD in 2013. The LORD answered my father’s humble plea and granted his request, and with two other grandchildren on the way, He continues to do so.
