Journal Entry-

“Therefore, also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD.” (1Sam.1:28)

Dear LORD Jesus, as You know, with each child that You have given us, we have dedicated them by giving them back to You. We do desire that they be Yours and that, being entrusted with their training- we would train each up to be soldier- good soldiers of Jesus Christ. However, I fear that sometimes maybe we forget- and lose sight of our God. Help us LORD, to realize daily that they are Yours and that we have been given a great responsibility.

Give us wisdom, oh God!
“…as long as he liveth he shall be lent…”
What do they need NOW and at each stage along the way?

James is 11, Jacob 9, Julie 7, Jonathan 5, Jesse 3, and Joy 1 1/2.

What do they need? What do they need to KNOW?
What do they need to know how to do?

Thine, Savior, Thine!
No more this child of mine,
Belongs to me,
But loaned to Thee,
Is Thine for age,
Henceforth, to stay!
