Read: Genesis 37-39

“But the Lord was with Joseph…and showed him mercy and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”

Psalm 91:4-“ He shall cover thee with his feathers and under his wings shall trust; His trust shall be thy shield and buckler.”

Lord- you ordered the circumstance (Joseph sold by brothers, falsely accused, and put in prison) and you were with Joseph in it. (Deut 31:6; Heb 13:5)
You “Meant it unto good” to save many people and while you were ordering the circumstance, while you were with Joseph, while you worked it all for good, You covered him with your feathers and gave him protection under your wings.
Will you not do the same for me?
So, Once again, I see that when the circumstances are bad that You are still with me, hiding me under your wings, working all things together for good and I should:
#1- Seek You through the Word
#2- Receive Your grace
Application:
The next time the waves seem to shake my faith read Genesis 37-50.

Note:
2 days ago we received a box from the Hughes family in Birmingham. The Lord provided a brand new pair of tennis shoes for each of our children. Not only did it supply a need but the shoes were much nicer that we could have ever bought on our own. Our Father does indeed give us exceeding and abundantly more than we could ever ask or think.
