12:7- Abram 75- “Unto thy seed will I give this land”
12:16- Abram 75- “I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth”
13:5- Abram 75- “Count the stars, so shall thy seed be”
16:16- Abram 86  Grew weary in waiting on the Lord and son was born of Hagar
17:2- Abram 99- “I will multiply thee accordingly”
21:5- Abram 100- When Isaac was born

Lord, You gave Abram a promise when he was 75. Although You confirmed it many times, You did not begin to confirm it by the birth of Isaac until 25 years later. Lord, help me remember that You are still the same today! Did You not wait 2 days more after You heard of Lazarus’ illness? Did You not wait to deliver as You slept in the disciples boat while the waves raged?
Help me to realize this is your way. Help me to remember it. And help me to remember Your Word unto they servant:
“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord.” Ps.27:14
“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.” Is. 40:31

“I wait for the Lord, My soul doth wait; and in His word do I hope.” Ps. 130:5
